At the 2018 Vinyl Industry Congressional Fly-in, we focusd on the following four issues that affect the vinyl industry:

Meeting Notes

As you well know, last week was only a part of our engagement with Congress and the follow-up is just as important.  You may download a copy of our meeting feedback form for you to attach your notes from our Fly-in meetings.  These first-hand accounts are invaluable to our ability to answer any questions or concerns they may have as well as contributing to our strategic planning.  Please address your meeting notes John Serrano at jserrano@vinylinfo.org.

Thank You Letters

Here is a sample thank you letter which you may use to draft your own letters of thanks to each office you met with. If you don't want to reach out to every office, please be sure to at least thank your individual Congressperson. Please be sure to cc: John Serarano as well, so we can add it to our file for future reference.

Plant Tour Invites

August recess is fast approaching and this is a perfect opportunity to invite your Congressmen on a tour of your facility back in the district.  Plant tours are a great way to foster a strong relationship with your Members of Congress by connecting your name and face with the jobs you provide his or her constituents.  You will definitely have an impact on their perspective.  Our Plant Tour Guide is a great resource to get you started and we are more than happy to help you facilitate a plant visit. We are also including a sample facility visit request which can be used to draft your very own plant tour invitation. Please be sure to cc: John Serarano on any invites you send.
