Vinyl Institute Rolling Out New Advocacy Tools

By | February 2016

The Vinyl Institute’s 2016 advocacy efforts are well underway, and next week we’ll be launching an all-new advocacy management system to help us better track and communicate our collective progress across the industry. The new platform will also allow our valued advocates and allies, to more effectively engage with your elected officials, track key legislation and regulations, and sort by areas of interest.

Here are a few of the top new features rolling out in the next two weeks:

  • Campaign Center – Take action on vinyl industry campaigns to advance key priorities and legislation at the federal, state and local levels.
  • Legislation Tracking – Track and monitor legislation that impacts the industry, from chemical regulation to water infrastructure to taxes and more.
  • Customized Profiles – Vinyl advocates can establish their own secure profiles to manage interest categories and personal information. The profiles are secure and any information you provide will not be shared with anyone outside the Vinyl Institute.

In addition, be on the lookout next week for our Vinyl Advocate Survey. This brief questionnaire is designed to help us better understand your interests, concerns and relationships with elected officials. Your responses will enable us to greatly enhance our advocacy efforts across the vinyl value chain.
