Vinyltec Grant Application Form

The Vinyl Institute is dedicated to furthering the education of students interested in the manufacturing, chemistry, and engineering fields. The VI has set up a grant for students to attend this years Vinyltec Conference.

 

SPE is the leading technical society for the global plastics industry. It is a community of individuals involved in the technical and commercial aspects of the plastics and polymer industry. Vinyltec is the largest vinyl-focused technical conference in the United States. 

To apply for a Vinyltec Grant, a prospective grantee must:

  1. Be enrolled at an accredited university.
  2. Be pursuing a degree in polymer science, material science, chemistry, or chemical engineering.
  3. Be able to attend all days of Vinyltec in-person from Oct. 22-24, 2024.

By submitting your application, you confirm that all the above information is true and correct to the best of your knowledge. You also confirm that you understand that the grant covers only the cost of the registration fee, and if you are selected and choose to travel to the event to attend in-person, you will be responsible for any and all travel costs and you must be able to book your own travel to and from the event (the Vinyl Institute will reimburse you).

Submission Deadline: Sept. 2, 2024. Grant recipients will be notified by or before September 23, 2024 via email to the company contact listed on the form. If the VI is unable to contact a winner within three (3) business days of notifying the individual via email, an alternate may be selected.

The VI shall not be responsible for: late, lost, incomplete, inaccurate, misdirected, or undelivered submissions; lost, interrupted or unavailable network, server, Internet Service Provider, website, or other connections, availability or accessibility or miscommunications; technical failures; computer hardware or software malfunctions, failures or difficulties; or other errors or difficulties of any kind, including, without limitation, errors or difficulties which may occur in connection with administration, the processing or selection of submissions.
