Earlier this week, we asked you to take action in support of the Renewing Opportunity in the American Dream (ROAD) to Housing Act of 2025 (S.2651)—a bipartisan Senate bill designed to reduce regulatory barriers, streamline federal reviews, and help communities build more housing. Thank you to everyone who raised their voice in support of that effort.

Since then, Senate leadership has taken a new step to move housing legislation forward. Senate Majority Leader John Thune has decided to file cloture—cutting off debate—on the House-passed Housing for the 21st Century Act (H.R. 6644), which also aims to address the nation’s housing shortage by modernizing housing policy, reducing regulatory delays, and encouraging increased housing supply.

Because a cloture vote is required to advance this legislation—and a final vote will follow—we are now asking you to take action once again.

Please contact your Senators and urge them to vote YES on cloture and YES on final passage of the Housing for the 21st Century Act (H.R. 6644). Advancing this bill will help ensure the Senate can move forward on bipartisan solutions to expand housing supply, lower costs, and improve affordability for families and workers across the country.
